Established in 2017, KWEST is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KWAP which acts as an investment platform for real estate development, as part of KWAP’s strategy to diversify further into alternative investments with higher returns. Setting its sights on development opportunities both locally and internationally, and executing growth through select partnerships and projects, KWEST aspires to be Malaysia’s leading Investment Institution for Real Estate development whilst upholding KWAP’s mission of supporting nation building, sustainability and remaining aligned to its core values.

Seri Tanjung Pinang 2 Phase 2A

Joint-venture between KWEST and Eastern & Oriental Berhad

Seri Tanjung Pinang 2 (STP2) is the continuation of its successful predecessor, Seri Tanjung Pinang 1, a master planned seafront development on the northeast coast of Penang island, Malaysia.

 

STP2A takes a catalytic approach that can embody the concept of ‘Cradle to Care’ whilst tapping on Penang’s existing strength of tourism (culture and food) and hospitality. The development will be complemented by wellness, commercial and culture, leisure and learning, all interwoven into the development fabric.​

 

The reclamation works for the integrated mixed-use development have been completed in September 2019, and its inaugural launch will be in Q1 2022.

 

The project has a Gross Development Value (GDV) of over RM22 billion and will be developed over a period of 15 years.
