Dato’ Charon Wardini bin Mokhzani is the Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad.
He started his career as a pupil barrister in London in 1989. He then joined Shearn Delamore & Co on his return to Malaysia and later worked in corporate finance at Rashid Hussain Securities (as it was then called). Subsequently, he joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co as a partner in 1994 and rose to Managing Partner. By the time he left in 2004 to become the Deputy Chief Executive of CIMB, it was the largest law firm in Malaysia.
During his decade at CIMB he held various senior leadership positions in the CIMB Group, including head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Deputy CEO of the Group, CEO of CIMB Investment Bank and Chairman of CIMB-Principal Asset Management.
He left CIMB to become an Executive Director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad as well as the first Managing Director of the Khazanah Research Institute in 2013. He then went to become the Group Managing Director of the Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad from 2018 to 2023.
Charon read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Balliol College, University of Oxford, and Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He is a non-practising Barrister of the Middle Temple and Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, a Fellow of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers and a Chartered Banker.
He currently serves on the boards of Yayasan Tuanku Fauziah, Yayasan Tuanku Syed Putra Perlis and the Kuala Lumpur Business Club, and was on the board of Universiti Putra Malaysia. He was awarded the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perlis in 2008.
He is often asked to speak at conferences domestically and abroad on law, economics, and finance.
A Finance graduate from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 1994, Datu Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Bin Haji Zaidel holds a PhD in Finance from University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), complemented by an Executive Education from Harvard Business School.
He currently serves as Deputy State Secretary Sarawak, focusing on Economic Planning and Development. His career spans impactful roles including senior lecturer at UNIMAS, Special Administrative Officer to the Premier of Sarawak for Project Strategy and Coordination, and Director of the Economic Planning Unit Sarawak.
Datin Seri Sunita Rajakumar is the Founder and Chairperson of Climate Governance Malaysia, the country chapter of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative, the second in the world and first in Asia-Pacific. In just 5 years, under her leadership, it has grown to be a significant advocate for an increase climate ambition and has been behind what is arguably the largest private sector mobilisation, for climate action. She is an independent non-executive director on the board of 5 multinationals, an Adjunct Professor for Climate Change and a trustees at 4 charities. She is an advisor to business schools and universities.
Bryan Lim joined Khazanah in December 2005. He was a key member of the team that set up Khazanah’s foreign office in Beijing, China in 2008 and was subsequently appointed Head of China in 2017. After serving 13 years overseas, he returned to Malaysia in 2021 to assume his current role as Head of Dana Impak (Impact Fund) and Head of Healthcare. In addition, he is also Chairman of Malaysia Impact Alliance (a National Partner of GSG Impact) and currently represents Khazanah as a Director on the Board of IHH Healthcare Berhad.
Prior to Khazanah, Bryan was with Ernst & Young, Rating Agency Malaysia Bhd (RAM) and ECM Libra Securities Sdn Bhd. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the MIT Sloan Fellows programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States and a Bachelor of Commerce and Management degree from Lincoln University, New Zealand. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Azarol Faizi Bin Zakaria Ansari, a Mechanical Engineering graduate, majoring in Aeronautical Engineering. Throughout his career, he worked in 3 different industries; Steel and Structure, Oil and Gas and Automotive.
He ventured into business at the age of 32 serving as the first-tier vendors for Proton OEM/REM, Mitsubishi Motors OEM/REM and Perodua REM. Subsequently, expanded into the industrial battery market to serve Telekom Malaysia and Petronas.
In 2014, he decided to enter the B2C market by launching Bateriku.com. Leveraging his entrepreneurial spirit, technical expertise and passion in marketing; today, Bateriku.com is leveraging big data, technology and sharing economy to become Malaysia’s No 1 Connected Roadside Assistance Provider.
Bateriku.com is building its own ecosystem; An order fulfillment network via sharing economy and entrepreneurship model, technology platforms to scale its operation, marketing leads integration via API, big data capabilities, 24- hour contact centre, establish close to 200 retail outlets across Malaysia, partnership with more than 1,000 workshops and promoting its own auto parts brand.
In order to ensure the quality of services offered by Bateriku.com, he established Akademi Bateriku in 2022, – a training institution endorsed by the Department of Skills Malaysia (JPK) and the National Dual Training System (SLDN), Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia. To date, Akademi Bateriku has delivered countless of trainings internally and monetized trainings for external parties.
His contribution towards the industry were recognised in multiple avenues including Spark PUNB Autopro (2016) – Anugerah Usahawan Berjaya, MARA Anugerah Usahawan (2022) – Anugerah Usahawan Digital and MDEC Innovation Champion of the Sharing Economy (2022/2023).
In April 2019, he was selected as Endeavor Entrepreneur at the 87th Endeavor International Selection Panel in Madrid, Spain. Eric Chen, Carsome and Loi Tuan Ee, Farm Fresh are the notable Endeavour Entrepreneurs from Malaysia.
Bateriku.com aims to be the regional champion that seamlessly connect car users to roadside assistance, auto services and auto parts marketplace. To date, Bateriku.com has opened its first overseas outlet in Jakarta.
Fuad Alhabshi is a multifaceted leader. Beyond founding the socially conscious rock band Kyoto Protocol (known for opening for Muse in 2023), Fuad boasts a 16-year career in asset management. He’s successfully managed over RM2 billion in fixed income and sukuk assets across MYR, USD, and SGD for diverse clients. Notably, he spearheaded Malaysia’s first sustainable and responsible investment sukuk fund in 2020.
Fuad holds a Master’s in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuit Design (Imperial College London) and a Bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering (University of Warwick). He’s also a licensed Capital Markets Services Representative since 2010.
Dr. Gary Theseira is a climate leader serving on boards and committees for Climate Governance Malaysia, Asia School of Business, Centre for Environment, Technology and Development Malaysia, and advising the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation. Previously, he conducted forest carbon research at FRIM, supported national environmental programs, and negotiated for Malaysia at 14 UN Climate Conferences (COPs). He played a key role in the 2015 Paris Agreement and served as a Special Functions Officer on Environment and Climate Change. Currently, Dr. Theseira assists with developing the National Climate Data Catalogue and contributes as a climate expert to the Selangor State Action Council on Climate Change. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy and has extensive research experience (B.Sc., M.Sc., Post Doctoral Research).
Nisha Terumalai is the project manager for the Fair Labor Association, working on Labour and Human rights issues in the global supply chain. She has formerly served with the International Labour Organization, UNICEF and UNHCR, working with different marginalised communities on a myriad of social issues.
Jason Wee is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Architects of Diversity, a youth-led non-profit organisation that bridges communities and identity groups among youth in Malaysia for justice, peace and a sustainable future. Since 2018, AOD has worked towards the promotion of diversity and inclusion in Malaysia by empowering young leaders as champions of inclusivity, pioneering ideas and processes for social cohesion, and building an enabling environment for legislative change towards equity and inclusion. He is a graduate of Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, specialising in Race, Ethnicity and Discrimination.
Amira Bilqis is a passionate youth policy advocate for sustainability issues and well-versed in ASEAN’s just energy transition policymaking processes. Her research interest and experience are strongly related to the energy environment and its cross-sectoral issues (climate, gender, jobs), global energy politics, and youth empowerment. To date, she is a co-founder of a youth-led organisation propelling the region’s energy transition agenda called Youth for Energy Southeast Asia (Y4E-SEA) and works at the ASEAN Centre for Energy as Energy Modelling and Policy Planning Analyst.
Ms. Juneliza Chiara Pandela has been engaged in developing, monitoring and evaluating agricultural enterprises in Southeast Asia funded by different International Development Organization such as World Bank, IFAD and EU. She provides technical assistance on developing bankable proposals to their country partners in Southeast Asia as well as a consultant focusing on the value chain integration and Public, Private and Producer Partnership. She has an expertise on Financial Modelling and has a keen interest on sustainability, agroecology and youth empowerment. Aside from developing agricultural enterprises, she is also the focal person of their organization on the coffee EU deforestation. She completed her Master in Business Administration last 2021 and is currently taking her Doctor in Business Administration in San Beda University in Manila, Philippines. Furthermore, she is the Sustainability Director of the ASEAN Youth Organization and the Assistant Program Director during the ASEAN Youth Economic Forum this year
Aidil is a young environmentalist with six years of experience in youth engagement, awareness-building and effective advocacy. His latest work experience was as a Youth Climate Champion Consultant at UNICEF Malaysia where he supported the country office on youth and children-focused climate and environmental action strategies. He also a part of the NRES’ Climate Change Consultation Panel and its Climate Change Youth Cluster, where I and other young people will be advising the Malaysian government when it comes to our collective climate strategy. He interests in youth participation in environmental activism, climate justice and green politics. Aidil also enjoys researching nature-based solutions, climate change adaptation and biodiversity governance. Occasionally, he does birdwatching as a means of citizen science and hobby. Hence, he founded his movement recently this year called Jejak Liar which focuses on strengthening young Malaysians’ knowledge about urban biodiversity.
Manavaalan Ramasamy leads the Venture Capital investment efforts at Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP), within the Private Equity Investments Department. He oversees the rollout of KWAP’s global Venture Capital strategy for both funds and direct investments, including KWAP’s Dana Perintis programme, which is committed to investing up to RM500 million into the Malaysian early stage ecosystem. Manavaalan started his career at the Ministry of Finance’s Fiscal Policy Section before joining KWAP as an equities research analyst in 2013. His coverage focused on the tech, telco and media sectors, encompassing Malaysian and global equities, including a three-year stint at KWAP’s office in London. Immediately before joining the Private Equity and Venture Capital team in 2022, he was the team lead for US equities research. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies).
Having embarked on his journey in the development sector by living and working for several years among remote forest based tribal communities in the southern Indian district of Mysuru, Dr. R Balasubramaniam (Balu) is a widely respected development activist, leadership trainer, thinker and writer. He is the Member-HR in the Capacity Building Commission of the Government of India. He is also a visiting professor at Cornell University, USA and at IIT-Delhi, India where he teaches courses on Leadership and Human Development. He is the Chairman of the Social Stock Exchange Advisory Committee set up by SEBI. After his MBBS, he earned his MPhil in Hospital Administration & Health Systems Management from BITS, Pilani. He has a Master’s in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. His living habits were greatly influenced by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and at the age of 19, he founded the Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement based on the principles of Ahimsa, Satya, Seva and Tyaga. He has spent more than three decades of his life in the service of the rural and tribal poor in the forests of India. He is also the Founder of Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement, a public policy thinktank in India. Dr Balu embodies a rare blend of grassroots and macro perspectives and policy through his multi-faceted experience of more than three decades. He is a Tata Scholar, a Mason Fellow of the Harvard Kennedy School and a Fellow at the Hauser Center for Civil Society, Harvard University. He was the Head and Visiting Professor of the Vivekananda Chair, University of Mysore twice. He is a regular columnist in national dailies and has authored seven books, both in Kannada and English.
Tan Sri Andrew Sheng, a former central banker and financial regulator in Asia, is a commentator on global finance. He holds prestigious positions including Pro-Chancellor of Bristol University and advisor to governments and financial institutions like the National Financial Regulatory Administration (China) and the Hong Kong government. Dato’ Mohd Muazzam Mohamed is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad. He joined Bank Islam on May 11, 2015 as its Chief Financial Officer before being appointed to his current position on December 5, 2018. He was formerly a Partner with KPMG in Malaysia and was also an Executive Director with KPMG Management Consulting. He is a Chartered Accountant with Malaysian Institute of Accountants; a Council Member of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants; a Chartered Islamic Finance Professional of Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals; and a Chartered Public Finance Accountant of Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. Sharifatul Hanizah is the Executive Director of Islamic Capital Market (ICM) of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC). She leads the team that spearheads the developmental agenda and operational aspects of Malaysia’s Islamic capital market (ICM). Their efforts encompass a range of initiatives aimed at broadening and deepening ICM products and services, with the ultimate goal of fortifying Malaysia’s position as the global leader in Islamic finance. Sharifatul Hanizah has an extensive and diverse experience of over 30 years in the fields of investment analysis, portfolio management, equity trading and unit trust while serving in various organisations such as Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), RHB Investment Management Sdn Bhd and Muamalat Invest. Geoffrey Williams is Founder and Director of Williams Business Consultancy Sdn Bhd and until April 2024 was a Professor and Provost at the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST). He is a Visiting Fellow at Universiti Malaya and a Visiting Research Fellow at Bank Negara Malaysia and until recently was a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER). He was also formerly Deputy Vice Chancellor of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK). An economist by profession, Geoffrey is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and has held academic positions at London Business School, Pembroke College University of Oxford and the University of London. Professor Williams was a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in 2004 and Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Management in 2010. Professor Dato Dr. Tengku Aizan Hamid is a distinguished scientist and pioneering figure in gerontology, renowned for her contribution to gerontology education, research, and policy development in Malaysia and the region. Her leadership extends to various committees at the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Economic Planning Unit, and Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment. She is a fellow of the Academy Science Malaysia, and the World Academy of Science, UNESCO based in Italy. She is an active member of the Active Ageing Consortium in the Asia Pacific (ACAP) and also served as expert resource of ASEAN Centre for Active Ageing and Innovation (ACAI) based in Thailand and a Board member of the Private Pension Administration Malaysia.
Mr Chua Choon Hwa is the Deputy Secretary General (Strategic), Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (MWFCD) since May 2022 and was appointed the Gender Focal Point (GFP) of this Ministry to spearhead the gender mainstreaming initiatives in various ministries and agencies. As the GFP he will lead the Gender Focal Team (GFT) to integrate the gender perspectives into all planning, policies, budget and processes in the ministry and agencies. GFP and GFT will support the Government’s aspirations based on understanding, capacity and capability related to gender in an effort to realise the National Women’s Policy in addition to helping to increase awareness and understanding related to gender in their respective ministries and agencies. He has rich experiences in this Ministry having held various positions since posted here in 2009. For example, in 2017, he successfully led the technical team to table the amendment of the 1994 Domestic Violence Act. Significantly, he was substantively involved in the preparation of the Malaysia Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and was one of the key members to table the country report to the CEDAW Committee at Geneva in February 2018. He graduated from University Malaya in 1996 with a B.A (Hons) in Social Administration and first joined the Malaysian civil service in 1996 as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer and was posted to the Ministry of Defence as an Assistant Secretary in the Finance Division.
Nazaiful Affendi Zainal Abidin currently heads the Portfolio Strategy and Research department which is responsible for the formulation of KWAP’s investment strategy, Strategic Asset Allocation as well as KWAP’s in-house investment research. He is also tasked with supporting the Chief Investment Officer to spearhead and manage all responsible investment related initiatives for the Investment Division as KWAP embarks on it journey towards realizing its sustainability pledges. Nazaiful has over 25 years’ experience in capital markets including various roles in strategy and research cutting across several asset classes.
Thomas, a venture capital veteran with over 30 years of experience, has actively helped entrepreneurs build successful companies for the past 20 years. He’s invested in over 300 startups, with 40 exits and 9 unicorns. Co-founding Gobi Partners in 2002, he became a first-round investor in notable companies like Airwallex and Dianwoda. He also managed the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund, investing in companies like WeLab. Relocating to Kuala Lumpur in 2015, he shaped Southeast Asia’s startup scene by investing in Aerodyne, Carsome, and many more through MAVCAP. A champion for diversity, Thomas emphasizes gender equality and Islamic ventures through TaqwaTech (e.g., Umrahme). In 2020, he formalized Gobi’s commitment to sustainability with the UN Global Compact and their inaugural Sustainability Report. Thomas holds a degree from Harvard and serves on boards for Endeavor Malaysia and the Malaysia Co-Investment Fund. He founded SEO China, a non-profit providing internships for underserved students.
Tanah Sullivan is the Group Head of Sustainability at GoTo and leads environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts across the entire Group. Before GoTo, Tanah was at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, where she led partnerships for a range of sustainability-focused initiatives in ASEAN and globally. She led the Forum’s efforts on issues such as energy transition, circular economy, food security, gender equality, deforestation and financial inclusion, among others. Previously, Tanah held various public sector roles with the Canadian and Australian governments, covering international security, development, natural resource security as well as foreign trade and investment. Tanah holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Bond University and a Master of Political Economy from the University of Melbourne, Australia
Hazman Hilmi Sallahuddin is the Chief Investment Officer of Malaysia’s Retirement Fund Inc (KWAP) since January 2022. He was previously the Managing Director of Damansara Assets Sdn Bhd (DASB) – a wholly owned real-estate subsidiary of Johor Corporation (JCorp) and the Chief Executive Officer of AMAL by Malaysia Airlines – a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Aviation Group. Prior to that, Hazman was with Khazanah Nasional Berhad where he served in various roles across the organisation over 12 years, including as the Senior Vice President of Khazanah Europe Investment Limited based in London, and Vice President of Khazanah Turkey Regional Office based in Istanbul. He obtained his MEng (1st Class) in Engineering, Economics and Management from Balliol College, University of Oxford and MSc in Operational Research from the London School of Economics & Political Science.

Hann Liew, a fintech entrepreneur and fund manager, is a leader in Malaysia’s digital asset space. Witnessing the crypto boom, he launched Halogen to offer innovative investment solutions, including the world’s first Shariah-compliant crypto fund. He previously led RinggitPlus to a massive customer base and co-founded financial literacy portals. A CFA and CFP, Hann has played vital roles as a policy advisor for the National Economic Action Council (NEAC) on Malaysia’s digital economy from 2019-2020, and was structuring capital markets products as a former Assistant Vice President in Equities and Funds at Barclays Capital in the UK.
Dinagaran Chandra (Dina) is an experienced sustainability professional with a diverse background in corporate governance, risk management, environmental assessments, sustainable finance, and corporate sustainability. Holding sustainability credentials from the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), Dina is dedicated to advancing the integration of sustainability considerations into business strategies. Currently, as the Head of ESG Investments at PNB, Dina is spearheading PNB’s aspirations to achieve a net-zero portfolio by 2050, scaling-up climate-aligned investment opportunities and operationalization of PNB’s labour rights commitments. Furthermore, Dina is also driving the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors throughout the investment value chain at PNB.
Dr Renard Siew is the Group Head of Corporate Sustainability for Yinson where he is responsible for advancing the organisation’s work in energy transition. Prior to this, he was involved in the implementation of the sustainability agenda for a number of public-listed corporations (Sime Darby, CIMB, MRCB) and was a researcher at the Centre for Energy and Environmental Markets (CEEM) contributing thought leadership in: sustainability/ integrated reporting, GHG reporting and verification, ESG integration, socially responsible investment (across different asset classes: equities, infrastructure and property/real estate), climate change and sustainable construction for the building/infrastructure sector. Renard is a graduate of Cambridge University and UNSW. In 2013, he was selected as one of 15 scholars to attend the PhD Academy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). He has published in many international refereed journals.
In 2014, he won a Highly Commended Paper award by the Emerald Literati Network and was inducted into the prestigious Global Young Academy as recognition of his research impact. He was the Co-Chair of the Climate Change & Disaster Risk Management Working Committee and UNEP-FI’s Collective Commitment on Climate Action. In 2020, he was appointed an SDG Champion-Climate Action by the World Economic Forum (WEF). He is a member of the WEF Expert Network Group, serves on the WEF Global Future Council on SDG Investment. He was accepted into the Forbes Fellowship Programme and attended the inaugural UN Climate Action Summit in New York in 2019. He is currently the President of the Malaysia Carbon Market Association (MCMA) protem committee looking into spurring the growth of the carbon markets nationally.
Dr. Chen Wei-Nee holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, a Master of Business Administration from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She was formerly the Chief Strategic Officer of the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) of Malaysia from October 2011 until September 2020. From December 2005 to mid-2011, Dr. Wei-nee served in the capacity of a Technical Advisor in the Malaysia Building Integrated Photovoltaic (MBIPV) Project; a project by the United Nations Development Program and administered by the Malaysian Government. Prior to coming back to Malaysia, she worked in New Zealand for 10 years in various industries. Today, Dr Wei-nee is known for her deep passion for renewable energy and energy transition. In September 2020, she joined Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd, Malaysia’s first publicly listed independent oil & gas exploration and production company, to pursue her passion in energy transition under the capacity of the Vice-President of New Energy Ventures. In August 2022, she joined Bursa Malaysia Bhd as EVP and Head of Carbon Market. Dr Wei-nee currently serves as a member of Industry Advisory Panel to Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC), Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA), the REDD+ Finance Framework Advisory Committee (RFFAC), and is involved in various technical working groups such as the World Bank Partnership for Implementation for Carbon Pricing Instrument (PMI CPI).
As Regional Representative, East and Southeast Asia, Win Sim handles relationships and collaboration with key partners in the region to secure endorsement of markets and the use of Verra standards to meet their objectives. This also includes exploring market opportunities for VCS project proponents inside and outside of the region and supporting regional government actions and policies, for example, pilots for Article 6 and capacity building for VCM. Prior to joining Verra, Win Sim was one of the pioneer team members of Bursa Carbon Exchange (BCX)

Ms. Jacqueline Chang is a senior international development expert with 19+ years of experience working with international donors, development partners, regional bodies and national governments. Her portfolio has covered 19 countries (Southeast Asia, Europe, North Asia, Australasia, North and South America). She has implemented programmes and projects (mostly funded by the European Union and some by UK Prosperity Fund) in collaboration with countries in ASEAN. She has also promoted EU-Malaysia-ASEAN cooperation both at country and city level in circular economy initiatives, SCP policy support (Prime Minister’s Department) to accelerate the development of a green and blue economy.
For the UNEP & COBSEA’s regional SEA circular project, she supervised and monitored the completion of circular economy pilot projects and case studies in Penang (circular plastic solutions) and Petaling Jaya (voluntary EPR) during the Covid-19, contributed in the Policy Working Group towards Ministry of Environment & Water’s National Marine Litter Policy and Action Plan 2021-2030.
Most notably, her circular economy experience includes working on circular cities (Malaysia’s Blueprint for Circular Cities) for the IUC-Asia project (2017-2020), which is now in its Phase 2 under IURC Asia & Australasia and the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy Asia. She was appointed as the official Ambassador of Circular Economy Institute (UK) on 16 October 2020 by its Founder & President, Ms. Anna Tàri.

Tiange, the Asia-Pacific Lead at the PCAF Secretariat, supervises all regional activities. As part of the PCAF Secretariat, Tiange and her colleagues support the initiative to develop the first ever Global GHG Accounting and Reporting Standard for the Financial Industry, marked with the official “Built on GHG Protocol”-mark. She is also a managing consultant in the global commercial sustainability segment at Guidehouse. Her work focuses on developing sustainability, and ESG strategies for financial institutions and large corporates. She has considerable experience in project management, greenhouse gas accounting, climate risk analysis, climate scenarios, and emission reduction strategies. Tiange is the co-author of the Strategic Framework for Paris Alignment. Her experience in climate strategy, technical expertise in financed emissions calculations, and qualifications in finance provide a solid foundation for advising financial institutions on net zero data and strategy.
Tiange has supported multinational corporations and investors across a range of geographies including Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. Prior to joining Guidehouse she worked as an Investment Banking professional in the Natural Resources and Infrastructure practices, where she conducted strategic M&A reviews for clients including a FTSE 100 utilities company.
Tiange completed the Stewardship and Engagement Executive Programme from the University of Oxford and holds a MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London. She is a certified sustainability and climate risk manager by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
Siping Guo leads MSCI’s ESG & Climate research in global TMT sector and MSCI’s ESG & climate research in Greater China market. She publishes research on major ESG trends in the Greater China market and TMT sector such as Nexus of ESG and China’s strategic Policy Shift and How Climate Change Affected Thirsty Chipmakers. She sat on the committee that oversees MSCI ESG Ratings’ methodology, quality and model integrity.
Siping holds a B.S. in material science and engineering from Tsinghua University, as well as an M.S. in industrial ecology from Chalmers University of Technology.
Cedric Lagrange is an Executive Director, Head of ESG & Climate, South Asia in MSCI. Based in Singapore, he leads MSCI ESG commercial activities in South Asia. With over 15 years in sustainable investment across markets and assets, Cedric has extensive product knowledge and experience in sustainability, ESG risks and climate strategies.
Cedric was most recently deputy head of MSCI ESG UK, looking after some of the largest Institutional Investors and Banks in the market. Previously, Cedric held various roles at ISS, a specialist corporate governance provider, and at UBS AM in Bruxelles and London.
Cedric holds a MA in Chinese Studies from SOAS London, a MA in European Public Affairs and graduate diploma from Sciences Po Strasbourg.
