A person appointed by pensioner/pension recipient as a representative responsible in managing all pension related matters.
Definition of Pensioner's Representative
Representative of pensioner is a person who has been appointed by the pensioner/pension recipient to be his representative that is responsible in managing matters relating pension.
Responsibilities of Representative
- To inform the Pension Division immediately when a pensioner or pension recipient dies or is disqualified under the pension law in force;
- To repay the overpaid pension as a result of failure to provide information to Pension Division of the death of pension recipients within seven days from the date of death, and
- To notify any change of address and telephone number or other information relating to pensioners or pension recipients to the Pension Division.
Application for cancellation of representative appointment (Scheme A/ Scheme B) may be made by the pensioner / pension recipient or appointed representative. Applications can be made by submitting written application to KWAP with reasons of cancellation.
Pensioners or pension recipient can change their payment scheme to be credited directly into your account each month via Scheme A (representative) where pension recipient does not need to be present at bank counters to claim pensions, but they can withdraw their monthly pension at any branch of the selected bank (which joined the SPB) provided the bank account used is an individual account (Saving Account/ GIRO or Current Account).

Pensioner's Representative
The primary responsibility of pensioner’s representative is to inform Pension Division immediately when a pensioner or pension recipient dies or ceases to qualify under the pension law.
Appointment of Scheme A representative may be made by completing JPA.BP.SKP.B08 form (
download here). A copy of representative's identity card must be attached together with the complete application form. The application can be submitted either by mail or by hand at KWAP's Pension Services Counter in Cyberjaya.
The representative can report the death of a pensioner by:
- Contacting the KWAP's Customer Service at 03-8887 8777
- Inform directly at KWAP Pension Management service counter
