02 - Financial Planning for Retirement Seminar
  • As one of the core objectives of the CSR Program is to educate the public on retirement, KWAP organized a Seminar on Financial Planning for Retirement in October 2010. Fifty representatives were selected from the Ministry of Finance, Royal Malaysian Customs Department and Valuation And Property Services Department to attend the one day seminar.

  • Central to KWAP’s CSR philosophy is employee engagement. To further encourage involvement of our employees in charity, activities were held such as jumble sales and donation drives to raise fund for a worthy cause. The proceeds were used to furnish and equip the Resource Centre for Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tampoi (Asli), Dengkil, Selangor and Sekolah Kebangsaan Salak, Sepang. Three of their top UPSR 2010 students were rewarded for their academic accomplishment.

05 - Saving The Environment
  • One crucial aspect of our CSR initiative is to establish a work culture that is environmentally aware and conscientious. We wish to instill a sense of respect and appreciation for the environment in each and every individual in KWAP. In this regard, efforts were made by participating in the "Earth Hour" program in March, which saw KWAP turning off its lights and switches for one hour, Smoke Free week in May by distributing leaflets and nicotine gums to encourage employees to quit smoking and conducted spring cleaning sessions to encourage employees to work in a clutter free environment as well as to encourage employees to recycle waste.

07 - Asian Pension Fund Round Table 2010
