The Change of Bank Account

To avoid disruption in pension payment processing, change of bank account limited to once in every 12 months. Approval regarding changes in bank account is subject to KWAP’s discretion. Each application form needs to be submitted together with copy of bank statement.

Information update on Marital Status / Child
Update on marital status or child may be made by enclosing a copy of marriage /divorce/birth certificate (where applicable) to KWAP.
Pension Adjustment
Effective from 1st January 2013, method for pension adjustment has been improved where pensioners will enjoy increment of two per cent (2%) annually.​ 

P​​​​rior to that, from 1st July 1980 until 2012, pension adjustment is made when there is a salary revision for civil servants. The civil servants’ salary review takes place once in four or five years.​​
Ceremonial Attire
Pensioners that will be awarded by state or federal government are entitled to claim for expenses on ceremonial entire.  The claim reimbursement can be directed to Ceremonial Division, Prime Minister Department (Bahagian Istiadat Jabatan Perdana Menteri) at 03-88726670/6672. The reimbursement of ceremonial attire is under the jurisdiction of the mentioned Division.​​​​
