Dato' Azian Mohd. Noh

Dato' Azian Mohd Noh was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer on 1 March 2007. She is also the Chairman of the Board for i-VCAP Management Sdn. Bhd. She holds directorships in Valuecap Sdn. Bhd., Malakoff Corporation Berhad and TIME dotCom Berhad. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Hons) majoring in Accounting from University of Malaya and Masters in Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Encik Mohd Zaki Hamdan

Chief Operating Officer since 2010. Responsible for the strategic direction and overall corporate alignment of all business support services. He has over 25 years work experience. He is a fellow CPA, Australia and a Chartered Accountant, Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He obtained Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Western Australian Institute of Technology, Australia.

Puan Nik Amlizan Binti Mohamed

Director of Equity Department since 2007. Responsibilities include strategising to maximise return for equity investment within given risk parameter. She has over 18 years work experience. She obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Claremont McKenna College, USA.

Encik Ahmad Norhisham Bin Hassan

Director of Fixed Income Department since 2007. Responsibilities include developing investment strategy and objective. He has 17 years work experience. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Business Administration (Finance) and MBA (Finance), from Western Michigan University, USA.

Mr. Ambalagam R. Marappan

Currently Director of Accounts and Management Services Department, in service at KWAP since 2007. Responsibilities include developing action plan to invest fund with external fund managers. He has vast experience in Federal Government. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Accounting and Masters Degree in Finance and International Studies, University of Malaya. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Encik Khairul Azwa Bin Kamalul Bahrin

Director of Risk Management and Compliance Department since 2009. Responsibilities include oversight of the enterprise risk management and compliance. He has over 16 years work experience. He obtained LL.B (Hons), University of Liverpool, England; MBA Management, University of Wales, Cardiff, UK and Financial Risk Manager Certification.

Encik Md Saffi Bin Nadzir

Director of Contribution Department since 2007. Responsibilities include increasing fund size through maximising collection of contributions. He has over 25 years work experience. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Universiti Teknologi MARA and MBA, Universiti Utara Malaysia.

Mr. Tai Kim Fong

Director of Information Technology Department since 2010. Responsibilities include overseeing the whole spectrum of KWAP’s Information Technology (IT) functions and requirements. He has over 25 years work experience. He is a certified Business Continuity Certified Expert, has earned the COBIT Foundation Certificate from ISACA and is an Associate Member of Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors. He obtained Bachelor of Science (Computer Science & Economics), Iowa State University, USA.

Encik Aznam bin Shahuddin

Director of Corporate Planning and Development since January 3, 2011. Responsibilities include custodian of strategic planning and corporate development initiatives. He has over 23 years working experience. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree ( Honours) in Accountancy from University of Central England, Birmingham, United Kingdom and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ( ACA, England and Wales). He also holds a Masters in Islamic Finance from the Global University of Islamic Finance, INCEIF.

Zalman Ismail

Director of Alternative Investments Department in 2011. Responsibilities include maximising long term returns through investments in private equity and property both local and overseas. He has over 16 years work experience. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Business Administration (Finance) from Eastern Michigan University, USA.

Nazaiful Affendi Bin Zainal Abidin

Director of Portfolio Strategy Department since May 2011. Responsibilities include reviewing and overseeing KWAP’s Strategic Asset Allocation and assisting the CEO/CIO in researching, developing and proposing fund level investment strategies. He has over 14 years work experience. He obtained his MBA Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia and attended the 4th ASEAN Senior Management Development Program held in June/July 2011.

Puan Tursina Binti Yaacob

Director of Research Department since April 2012. Responsibilities include evaluation of companies and market conditions to identify opportunity for investment, support asset allocation decisions and portfolio construction. She has over 15 years of work experience as research analyst covering various sectors on the global landscape as well as Malaysia. She obtained her MBA (Strategic Management) from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Completing Chartered Islamic Finance Professional programme at INCEIF.
